The Jewel In The Lotus

03 May
trees splatter the bluest blood
the bone dome
rustles with them

knives once cut to marrow
but won't let now

the blues flower
this dagger-brown peeper
crop windows cloudless

checks in
slices off

no sweat
by the voices
the multiphasic ideas
the fight
boxing-match with shadows
just i

none let
me see the sky today
the airy look without
frowning across the orbits

carbonated by a billion leaves exhaling
they too expire
to inhale tree greens
in the gray-browns of barks

op-eds but a rotting leaf
floating in
the muddy marsh pool
the jewel
still in the lotus

this holiday siesta medicine
axis of my solar orb-lit day
