Moonlit Doorways

11 Dec
Moons fell from the sky
     sparkling as crystal flowers descended
whispers of December's mystic complexion:
neither frown nor icy smile polarizes, yet
connect into a crispy-browed wink as fingers dance across the ivory,
to kindle an inner key tingling the skin instrumental
beckons the attention of myriad worshippers to stand;
back of the neck, down the arms, hands touch, move, penetrate, travel
tufted mountains
   furtive crevasses
         explore in search of thou, of I .. lips
join to share doorways of December evenings tracing
            our ice-angel selves now
when trees can smile into you,
            from your eyes dark moons fall.
