A Dime’s Worth

04 Jan

By ear-lobed drones
Vibrating, gyrating
In Game-Boy tones
Beeps in the car
Dings in the ear
Smart-phones on asses
Entrance lads and lasses.
Slaves of fear
By their addiction severe
The ring-tone demand
Is to be in your hand
Siren apps drain
While microwaving
your brain

Following you around
A snuffing bloodhound.
(look how you’re bound!)
Satellites in the sky
Towers on earth
Spying private-eyes
Kids owned from birth.
What’s it all worth?
Taking your time?
Used to cost a dime.
